    Before I started to list this item today I cleaned the leadpipe and played Taps on it
    both as a tribute to all heroes who sacrificed their lives so we can live our lives and also as a prayer for those who push people apart with their conflicting ideologies in our times. Peace ✌️ TO ALL .
    This AMATI ABG 201 bugle horn is perfect for taps and sounds very sweet. It is Bb flat horn but after extending leadpipe it will go half step lower to the key of A and possibly to couple other lower keys since leadpipe is pretty long 10” so calls can be played in few keys and lower bit easier for the chops. You can decide / mark leadpipe wit the marker how much to extend to the desired key. Also good horn for lip exercises light to hold without valves.
    This horn is pretty rare. Not sure how many of these reached America shores. This one is made in Czech Republic so after January 1st 1993 when Czechoslovakia separated for Slovakia and Czech Republic. Beside the bell logo and names and model and country I don’t see serial number around this horn .
    The length from the bell edge to the end of bell bow is 17.50” and the bell flare has 5.70”. This horn is in excellent shape near mint can be said minus small imperfections described in the detail section above. Horn has seen low play time and it’s ready to play . You just need your own flugelhorn mouthpiece as that what leadpipe takes. Lacquer is excellent.

    This bugle also has two banner hooks on the front and back / also could be used for carrying the bugle on a strap ( not really recommended but optional ) . This is a large horn reminds me a rotary flugelhorn but without valves. It can fill up the hall or outdoor space with a beautiful sound. It is a well made Bugle ! Horn also features protective factory patch on the bell bow and one more small hook on the horn pipe leadpipe goes in.
