VINTAGE CARL SCHILLER Bb FLUGELHORN
This is not a modern Schiller made in China.
This is vintage one made in western Germany back in the day .
This is totally Couesnon, Selmer , Besson quality horn which is light to hold and plays great all over the ranges .
Serial number range #27xxx ( above serial number on the 2nd casing there is a small triangle sign with letters KÜHKL which I was only able to make up with the magnifying glass as these are very small )
Horn is in lacquer finish with some nickel accents on connections of pipes near valves, bottom bell pipe and slides pipes. Valves are great with no wear and have very good compression. Please see condition described is section above and see all photos. This horn still looks great and it’s ready for a ballad or fast playing. Bell features name and nice engraving around . Finger buttons are similar to Besson buttons and feature nice pearls. Valves are bottom spring action . Don’t miss out .
Horn comes with no case, no mouthpiece. Horn will be packed very safely for shipping.
It’s been tested with my personal Bach mouthpiece and this mouthpiece brand fits well in leadpipe and works very well with this flugelhorn.
