Hard to find yelloware candle holders by
Anton Tschinkel.
These were made in the 1864-1885 era.
These unusual pieces stand about 7 1/2" tall. Nicely molded details all around with traces of gold decoration.
The candle cup of the lady has been professionally re-attached and is nicely done. There is an additional old glued damage to the base and the tip of one of the leaves is missing. The tip of another leaf appears to have also been re-attached. One tip of a leaf has been re-attached on the man but I find no other damage. Both pieces have impressed marking

A rare and unusual set for any yelloware collection.
