    Description

    Here we have an extremely rare McCoy bowl.  This is fantastic with the molded pie crust pattern on the shoulder and the extremely rare brown and blue glaze bands around the side.  The brown and blue bands are flawless with no misses, skips or smears.  The molding of the piecrust design on the shoulder and the drapery pattern around the base are well defined.  The square base on this bowl is perfect without the signs of wear often seen on the corners.  The small bowl measures only 5 ½” in diameter by 3” high and is in original mint condition with no damage or repairs.  This molded pattern is unique to McCoy and dates to the 1930s.
