Break out those laser guns! Here’s a terrific photo of the stars of the 1950s series “Space Patrol,” which was a local broadcast, a radio show and a half-hour network series. (All this per attached caption copy on the back side.)
Featured in the photo are, front from left, Lyn Osborne, Virginia Hewitt, Ed Kemmer; and, back, from left, Ken Mayer and Nina Bara.
We believe this black and white 8 x 10 PR still was issued in the 1980s. (We aren’t sure why; possibly as a promo for the Sci-Fi Network?) It is not a duplicate.
It shows wear (as shown, there are some markings on the white border that indicate it was once cropped for publication). But this image of the series stars isn’t often available.
