    Up for Auction. More Stuff from a Prominent Central Florida Estate Collection. Here is a Scarce Antique Stoneware Jug with a Cobalt Blue Highlighted Impressed Mark on the Front from Its Merchant "Return To Robt. W. Simms, Jacksonville, Fla.". The Jug is Aprox. 1 1/2 to 2 Gallon in size measuring 11 3/4" tall, Mr. Simms Sold Liquors, Whiskey and Imported Wine & Beer in Jacksonville and the Jug is Unsigned but it Appears to have been Made by the Potter Peter Herrmann of Baltimore, Maryland as it has All of His Traits with the Impressed Lettering, the Type of Stoneware and Form of the Jug. Lots of
    Wear from use over the years, the Handle is Missing, there is a Chip to the Spout, Tight Hairlines to the Base and it is Dirty & Dusty from Display. (See Pix). Overall in Original As Found Condition and we are Hopeful that this Scarce Jacksonville Merchant Jug will Find a Good Home.
