Rare Vintage Grundig KU 680u Stereo Console MCM

Rare Vintage Grundig KU 680u Stereo Console. Condition is "Used".
60s Grundig Stereo Console, walnut with satin finish. The console itself was in good shape but the electronics were trash. We decided the best way forward would be a restoration\modification.
The woofers are out of a set of Boston acoustic A60 bookshelf speakers (8”), the silk dome tweeters are from a vintage set of Jensen bookshelf speakers. Great care was taken to make sure the new enclosures where the appropriate air space and absolutely airtight. We decided on a more modern Onkyo TX-SR603X, and Esinkin Bluetooth receiver. The result is a sound quality that can be crisp and responsive, but also offer warm and rich midrange.
Original hardware was retained, and although modified we tried to keep the exterior looking as clean and original as possible. Many different component options are available. Feel free to contact us with any questions, thank you for looking.
