Popeye takes Olive's dog, Frenchy, a French poodle, out for a walk when Bluto and his bulldog, Killer, come by to give them a bad time. To fight Bluto's dog, Frenchy eats spinach. Fists- and fur- are soon brawling all over town.

There are scratches and marks on the film which may be noticeable in the print.
