    Description

    What a find from the 1970s! This fun space ball of a radio (I now remember having great fun with it), the Panasonic Panapet R-70 AM Radio sporting a bright rich medium blue. With six transistors. A great novelty that came out in the early 1970s in many funky colors. Pretty sure this one is 1970. Two chrome dials: 1 for volume, the other for Tuning. Works well. A little static for a couple of stations but believe that can be fixed with a special spray and wipe product. Otherwise the sound is loud and clear. Wow! It aged well. In very good condition. Some tiny scratches on viewing window. New battery. Measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter. From Japan. These were produced by Panasonic to commemorate the World Expo in Osaka years ago. A bit of nostalgia. Enjoy.
