    Description

    Pictured is a highly detailed blue & grey stein offered for sale.  The embossed stein depicts the Lakota Indian chief
    "Hollow Horn Bear" who lived from 1850 - 1913.  The additional two panels show the warriors weapons, shield, &
    headdress.  The embossing is sharp & crisp with great eye-appeal.  The slender stein measures 6 1/4" in height &
    is incised Germany & #27 on the underside.  It's in excellent condition with a shallow touch mark at the thumb rest.
    The stein is from the Gerz series of steins honoring American Indian Chiefs.  The portrait is from photographs taken
    by Frank A. Rinehart at the Indian Congress held in 1898 in conjunction the Trans-Mississippi & International Exposition.  Amazing detailed panels all around....
