This is an excellent replacement for an AA5
I have used at least 3 of these in my own restorations and they work perfectly. You have a 25 or 70 volt input and your choice of a half watt , 1,2, or 4 watts of output
These match close enough to the 3.4-4 ohm input of the antique speakers. The last photo show one mounted on an original speaker transformer mount with un needed leads clipped off.
I have been surprised to find how many times an audio transformer is the actual cause of no sound
This has the exact dimensions of many speaker mounted transformers that were produced in the 1940’s to early 1950’s.
