Amateur Wireless! Very Nice J. J. Duck Receiving Transformer No. A7721

Here is a nice example of a hard to find loose coupler!  This is a J. J. Duck Receiving Transformer No. A7721.   It is in very nice condition!  I have owned this item for decades and it remains exactly as I found it.
This device has a base that measures about 15" x 5.75" x .75" and stands about 6.5" high at its tallest point.  The wooden support structure is finished in hand rubbed dark mahogany.
The unit is in great condition given how old it is!!  It shows some signs of its age, but not really noticeable.  Finish is original.   Primary winding is hand wound bare copper and secondary wire is green silk covered wire, original and nice.  The secondary has a turned mahogany end which supports an eight point contact to vary inductance.  Wavelengths can be varied up to about 1800 meters.
There is an original DUCK tag attached to the base.  The catalogue picture is from my reference library:  "Wireless Supplement To Catalog 6 The J.J. Duck Co.  Anything Electrical".
This rare item has aged correctly, with the normal surface changes you would expect.  The patina quite natural and inviting.
This unit is ready for your display as it sits!
