Here's a Martian Big 4 crystal radio made in 1923 by Marti Electric in Newark, NJ. The radio was marketed by the Diolite Insulator Co. of Brooklyn, NY, and a copy of the original promotional broadside is included with it.
Condition is excellent. The radio is original and correct throughout, with no replica or replacement parts, no damage to the legs, no issues. Nice original detector, with its original mineral, original arm and original catwhisker. Tuning coil is still tightly wrapped with its original wire. Original springs are in good condition, and the slider balls stay in place once a location on the coil is selected.
Promotional sheet is in excellent condition.
Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 6 lb.
